- BRICS Pay: A new payment system named BRICS Pay was introduced to facilitate transactions and exchange financial information between central banks of member countries, providing an alternative to SWIFT.
BRICS Kazan Declaration:
- The declaration was adopted, with BRICS nations advocating for UN and Security Council reforms.
- The declaration endorses State of Palestine’s full participation in the United Nations, based on the two-state solution.
BRICS Plus/Outreach Session:
- On October 24, Russia hosted a plenary session in the BRICS Plus/Outreach format, engaging leaders from the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and delegations from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and heads of several international organizations.
Expansion of BRICS Partners:
